More fantastic festival news to announce! We’re very pleased to say that the first two films in the Price of Kings series will be screened at the 24th annual Jerusalem Film Festival, which is running from the 5th- 14th July, 2012.
The ten day long festival, which began in 1984, will this year be screening between 150-200 films from international feature, short and documentary films to films about The Jewish Experience, issues of Jewish identity and history, and films concerned with questions of freedom and human rights.
They've given us a great write-up for ‘The Price of Kings: Yasser Arafat’, describing the film as “an excellent and thought-provoking documentary, whatever your politics may be”, also commenting:
“A formidable line-up of interviewees, including Arafat’s widow, Suha; a wealth of archival segments; excellent editing; and effective use of the Interrotron (the interviewing machine developed by Errol Morris), bring the viewer closer not only to the charismatic leader and unwavering statesman but to Arafat, the man.”
